Role Purpose:
To protect our client’s premises from criminal activity and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within by protecting them from verbal and physical abuse.

Role Requirements:
We seek to fill this post at the earliest opportunity
£6.75 – £7.00 per hour
Paid monthly
Averaging 42 hours per week + possible overtime
Overtime available on rest days if desired covering a variety of assignments. Not compulsory
Working Mon-Sun nights from 1900hrs to 0700hrs working a 4-on 4 off working pattern
This role is based at our client’s commercial premises in Warrington WA3
Our Security Officers are required to comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment.

Conducting regular patrols of client premises using Company patrol vehicle and mobile tracking and safety device. Client locations based across Manchester; Middleton, Longsight, Manchester City Centre.

Ensuring client premises are protected from any (potential) criminal activity. Ensuring patrol vehicle is kept clean and safe whilst on duty.

Submit regular reports detailing any suspicious activity, significant events or incidents and emergencies and be responsible for handover of vehicle at start and end of shifts.

Role may involve transport of Officers to and from assignments.

The successful candidate will join the team at this site to ensure we provide the full security needed 24 hours per day across all days of the week required.

They will be expected to undertake a collection of security duties, uniform and relevant training will be provided.

Specific Duties:
Punctuality:- Arrives before the shift start time, books on duty and is active on site at the shift start time, complying with ‘Assignment Instructions’.
Communication:- Is polite at all times, demonstrates quality customer service, has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Escalates any issues of concern or risk to the relevant management.
Deters Crime:- Appears focused and alert, seeks to identify potential risks and takes action to mitigate any threat.
Maintains DOB:- Completes an entry for each day, documents licence declaration, records breaks and all relevant daily operational information.
Dress Code:- Is dressed in required uniform including correct shoes. Maintains good personal hygiene and cleanliness of uniform. 


Essential Qualifications
To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria:
Be smart and well presented at all times
Have an SIA SG/DS/CP licence (Having an SIA CCTV licence is an added bonus)
Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service
Have previous experience in the security industry
Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team
Have a full five year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted
Be at ease with using technology to submit reports and communicate with support teams, clients and management
Have a full UK driving license.
Be comfortable dealing with client staff and management and communicating/escalating issues.
Security Required Documents
Documentation that MUST be provided by the applicant (to meet BS7858) upon request
SIA Licence;
Passport OR full birth certificate;
Visa (if relevant);
Bank statement with account number, sort code and address;
Proof of address (such as utility bill);
Proof of National Insurance Number;
Details of 2 personal references (that must not be relatives or live at the same address).
