Sofitel London St James is looking for a magnifique Security officer to join our diverse Security department. You will be part of a fast growing desirable 5* luxury hotel brand. You must have a passion for excellence, and a can do attitude in order to be considered for this role.

The stunning Sofitel London St James lies discreetly at the heart of the most prestigious and lively area of London and consists of 183 rooms, 11 inspired meeting rooms, Anglo-French Restaurant, a Coco Channel inspired design Bar, The Rose Lounge, and a luxury spa.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills required for a Security Officer:
You must have a proven track record as a Security Officer and or relevant experience.
You must have a valid SIA Door security Licence to be a Security Officer
Ability to priority different tasks and requests coupled with proven organization skills with good attention to detail.
Good level of English language both spoken and written.
Flexibility to work on rotas is a must.
Proactive and Decisive.
Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure.




Main Responsibilities as a Security Officer will include:
To work within the parameters of the security manual and the hotels policy and procedures.
To prevent theft and damage to the property of guest, staff and the company.
To respond to all alarms and take action as directed in respect of any emergency situation.
To assist the police and other agencies in the protection of visiting Royalty, Government Ministers and celebrities.
The Security Officer must assist security at various functions.
You will work on a 4-day on 4-day off pattern.
