An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of our prestigious distribution centre contracts in Bedford for a dynamic Site Supervisor to lead the on-site team and integrate with site Management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clear and timely communication to all staff within the site on key issues that affect the business operation and high levels of customer service delivery.
You will be working alongside VSG & Centre Management to develop, implement and maintain appropriate policies, procedures, training and guidance which represent best practice in the areas of security, customer service and business continuity.
Essential Experience
Able to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels within the organisation.
Possess good man-management and interpersonal skills
Able to implement and manage processes and procedures.
A skilful negotiator who is capable of resolving issues using their own experience and initiative.
A decisive and assertive decision maker who can interpret situations to proceed with a prioritised action plan that achieves the results required.
Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
IT literate
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
Knowledge of the Security industry is not essential but would be advantageous
Previous Supervisory and/or management experience
