You will be based at a large prestigious shopping centre in Grimsby which covers 500,000 sq ft.
You will be working with a team of managers and will be solely responsible for the Security on site.
You will have a team of 20 beneath you, including Security Guards and Supervisors.
Your day to day tasks will be to ensure the security team are successfully completing their individual tasks.
This may include anything from planning and changing the ROTA, assisting with security issues, helping to plan the work and general day to day management of the security of the large shopping centre.

Security Manager

We are currently recruiting a Security Manager, to be a focal point within the Division in providing ‘on site’ specialist security advice, assurance and investigatory support across all contract locations ensuring contracts are managing security in accordance with corporate, contractual and regulatory requirements.  This is a Home Based role, however the successful application will require an element of flexibility as the role involves travel to all sites across the UK.

Principal Duties:
On site delivery of timely, accurate and competent security advice across all areas of the Division and relevant business units.
To plan, manage and deliver a schedule of risk-based security “compliance/assurance” audits to ensure understanding and adherence by Division/business unit contracts with corporate, contractual and regulatory security requirements.

Woeking for this well known security company, you will ensure compliance with processes and contribute to performance improvements. The ARC handles CCTV, Fire, Intruder, Lone Worker and medical services monitoring. You will manage the team of operators and duty managers, who undertake monitoring and other duties within the ARC on a daily basis.

Candidate profile:
Previous experience in a similar role leading teams using strong leadership skills
Proven track record of decision making in a pressurised fast paced changing environment
Robust operational knowledge of the latest CCTV, fire, Lone Worker and monitoring alarm systems.
People management experience.
Excellent communication and administrative skills with attention to detail.
A team player with a positive and can do attitude to work.
