Our
client is seeking a Security manager for a shopping centre in Kent. The
successful candidate will be self motivated and have excellent customer
service and organisational skills, combined with a flexible approach to
working. They will need to work effectively both as a team member and
positively motivate and lead the security team
Key responsibilities:
* Manage the contract as per client specification
* Manage and schedule staff including recruitment, training,
disciplinary and welfare issues
* Investigate accidents/Incidents
* Ensure compliance with the assignment instructions
* Assist in the completion of fire alarm testing for tenants and the
landlords
* Ensure that health and safety information contained in risk
assessments are communicated to relevant employees and client
* Ensure all employees receive appropriate induction and training and
are competent to under take their duties
* Ensure that accurate check calls are in place
* Assist in the control of evacuation procedures and evacuation exercise
* Supporting Mall management including duty management responsibilities
as and when required
You will have a valid SIA license and have experience in security
management. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential
for this position 60 hours per week - various shifts This site is a
shopping centre; previous security management experience within a
shopping centre is preferred, people who have also been in the armed
forced or police would also be suitable for this role. This vacancy is
