Security Manager - Waste and Recycling
£50,000 -55,000 k + Car + benefits. Flexible
Leading national company in the waste &
recycling sector seeking a Security Manager to provide strategic direction, national
management, project support and implementation for all aspects of security and
risk at over 50 recycling sites throughout the UK.
This is a new role to coordinate and manage the security operations throughout the business and project management.
Role:
-Review and improve all aspects of site
security including; CCTV, cash handling,
physical security measures and fraud
detection.
-Managing the procurement, installation and
on-going management of electronic, physical
and integrated security systems.
-Managing security supplier relationships,
overseeing systems maintenance and
compliance.
-Coaching and training employees and
contractors in the improvement of physical
security and surveillance throughout the
business.
-Conduct and lead internal fraud and theft
investigations.
-Act as the lead company liaison officer with the police, on security and related compliance matters.
-Liaison with Company Insurers to assist in
Risk Assessment and policy renewals.
-Preparing budgets and forecasting for on-
going security costs and projects.
Requirements:
Security Management experience within
industrial multi-site industrial environments
essential e.g . construction, plant and
equipment, transport, waste and recycling
yards or similar.
Proven record in the implementation of
security systems and working with external
security personnel providers.
Experience of security systems design,
installation, development, and management
of security services, including CCTV, manned
guarding, security protocols
Knowledge and understanding of Data
Protection Act and Private Security Industry
Act 2001.
Excellent project management and
communication skills.
Location is flexible for this role as it will
require extensive UK travel. Full driving
licence is essential.
Salary package could be negotiable for the
right individual.
