Area Manager

Job Introduction:
The Regional Security Area Manager is responsible for augmenting the current team, delivering exceptional service and management of customers within a defined geographical area. This will involve the coordination of other stakeholders to meet the internal and external customer needs while improving the financial position of the organisation.
We are seeking an experienced manager who has the skill, drive and leadership qualities to inspire a team of Contract Managers as well as leading the team to not only exceed the expectations of the existing client base, but also to grow the business in line with budgetary requirements.

Role Responsibility:
The Area Manager will be responsible for:
Leading the team and portfolios to significant organic growth through a pro active approach to operator sales.
Deliver income and margin expectations in line with budget and business targets.
Deliver all price increases in line with contract renewal dates within set timescales.
Drive customer service delivery standards to an exceptional level and improve client retention rates.
Develop existing client relationships and identify potential new revenue streams.
Maximise employee retention through role improvement opportunities, training, development and succession planning.
Deliver the security service in a customer centric and cost effective manner.
Set clear objectives to the team and monitor improvement and progress.
Manage all KPI measures and achieve a continual improvement culture.

The Ideal Candidate:
Track record of delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining security standards.
Experience of leading a team that is motivated and committed, identifying and addressing any potential issues at an early stage.
An ability to communicate at all levels and to build effective relationships.
Proven ability to drive in change that delivers positive benefits.
Security industry knowledge preferred, but not essential as applicants with extensive experience in facilities or/and hospitality industry will be considered.
Sound operational skills and commercial acumen are essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to deliver exceptional customer service, have excellent relationship building skills and be able to manage and develop employees.
Full UK Driving License and a flexible approach to work.
