Package: £26,000 - £30,000 negotiable, Company Car, Bonus & additional benefits

Ellis Mack Recruitment is working with a quality and standards focussed Facilities Management Company looking to recruit a Security Contracts Manager due to the continued expansion of their business. You can be based in Central Scotland and will be responsible for the delivery of the Security function over a range of contracts across the Central Belt.
You will report directly into the company’s Head of Security and be accountable to the contract holders in relation to security service delivery.

Responsibilities include:
• To provide positive leadership, clear vision, direction and appropriate support for the security function across a range of our clients contracts.
• Ensure the delivery of a coherent and comprehensive security programme across all our contracts.
• Responsible for the selection, recruitment, development and discipline of all staff reporting to you
• Supply the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of house areas - Provide structured feedback to all team members on customer service
• Develop and implement effective training, coaching and development plans to maximise potential of all team members and the performance of the Security personnel
• Financial Accountability - To oversee responsibility for security staff rotas per the agreed procedures with due regard for the monitoring and control of labour costs and other KPIs.
• All reporting and administration in line with the responsibilities for the role – on time and fully completed with attention to detail.
• To be fully aware / conversant with all current and relevant legislation in relation to the provision of Security services
• Provide advice to clients on security policy, identify any legislative updates and recommend appropriate action
• Assist in conducting investigations of any security breaches within the contracts and advise line management of correct solutions
• Business Development – adding value to existing contracts where possible and having an awareness of opportunities to bring in new business / generate leads for the Sales team.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have a drivers license as this is an Area role that requires travel between contracts.
• Have experience in Security Management / Facilities Management
• Possess valid SIA License and be able to provide a traceable 5 year work history to current date.
• Pass all CRB checks and Security Screening
• Have shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career.
• Have excellent planning and organisational skills.
