Job Description
Experienced and professional Trainer (s) required to deliver the security training programme to a high volume of security personnel working for a major international event in London. This position will report to the Development & Training Manager.

Responsibilities include:-
* Ensure the accuracy of all training documentation and adequate preparation of course material in a way that adheres to standard operating procedures and encourages learner participation.
* Conduct, monitor and assess a range of job-specific training sessions on and off site for a diverse audience at varying levels of abilities in accordance with the values and standards of the company and its clients.
* Track progress of trainees and ensure performance standards are met.
* Ensure the success of the overall programme within the agreed timescales and provide re-training as required.
* Provide feedback and reports to management when requested on attendance and progress.
* Liaise with management and stakeholders to ensure that training delivery and assessment works smoothly and report any concerns regarding progress and learner suitability.
* Motivate and inspire trainees to excel and remain committed to a demanding training regimen.
* Arrange for the maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.
* Work as a team with other trainers in a busy environment.

This position may require some travel as well as evening and weekend work.

Core skills and competencies:-

* Previous training experience.
* Experience of successfully delivering adult training programmes, writing reports and keeping records.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, customer-service and facilitation skills.
* Strong influencing and relationship building skills with a solid understanding of adult learning theory.
* Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality output.
* The ability to develop creative solutions and new approaches in environments where no precedent exists.
* Experience in successfully managing multiple demands and delivering excellent results against tight deadlines in a fast-moving, complex and progressive environment.
* Successful in building effective relationships, able to manage difficult situations and relate to staff at all levels.

Education:

Professional qualification in Workplace Training. QTLS Professional qualification or CIPD: Chartered Institute of Personnel Management desirable, but not essential.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Trainer and Assessor, preferably in a security or customer service or event environment.

Language: Excellence in English (verbal and written communication).

PC Aptitude: Computer experience in core Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Contract Rate: £150 / day
