Security Officer - White City, London (W12)
46 hours per week - £9.20 per hour
We are currently looking to recruit a number of Security / Concierge Officers based at our site in White City, London (W12). You will already hold an SIA Guarding licence and be able to work 46 hours per week, on a rota basis with various shift patterns including evenings and weekends as rotered.
As a Security / Concierge Officer you will work with other team members and individually to ensure the safe running of the building.
The Security Team ensures exemplary standards of security and customer service are provided to the client and visitors at all times. You will be the public face of the security team and will therefore play an influential role in the success of our contract,Because the building is manned 7 days per week you will be required to cover all of the different 7 days at some time or other.
The key responsibilities for the Security / Concierge Officer role will include:
To readily interact with all visitors / tenants within the site, delivering a first class customer focused service.
Carry out regular patrols of the site
Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest levels.
To ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, strictly adhering to the site uniform requirements.
Continuously looking for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors at the site proactively offering assistance wherever opportunities arise.
To ensure that the site is a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors / tenants.
Ensuring all incidents is managed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
Liaising with the site control room proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are fully briefed and supported at all times.
The successful Security / Concierge Officer will:
SIA Licence
Have previous experience in a customer facing role
Have suitable transport arrangements to allow for early and late shifts
Hold a current SIA guarding licence - essential
All successful applicants will be subject to referencing inline with the BS7858 regulations which will include, but is not limited to: credit check, 5 year activity history, right to work checks and SIA licence verification.
