Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Security & Risk. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced senior-level security /risk professional. Operating cross-functionally and at a senior level, with multiple managed-service partners, you will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of a safe experience of our brand.
PLEASE NOTE: Your role encompasses all aspects of Security - information, technical, people & property as well as carrying responsibility for business continuity and the oversight of business risk.
This is a highly cross functional role with responsibility for influencing CEO, CFO, Sales & Marketing, CTO and People & Property Directors and strategy in order to protect H3G now and in the future.
Scope:
Directly responsible for a team of 5 FTE in the UK, dotted line responsibility for a team of 5 FTE in India and other supporting security staff (3rd parties etc)
The role holder will be responsible for setting and implementing a Security strategy covering all aspects of the business, including, but not limited toNetwork, IT, People and Customer Security.
Will be required to communicate security issues in an accessible manner at all levels of the organisation from Technician to Board, applying judgment to guide decision making.
You will be required to lead the organisation through crises, taking accountabillity for managing security KPI`s to agreed performance level.
You will be directly responsible for setting policy relating to Security and BCM, resilience and network architecture and be accountable for ensuring that products, services and technical enablers go to market with the relevant security controls embedded within design.
Support the maintenance and delivery of Government Security requirements and infrastructure under RIPA.
Accountable for the performance of the Security Team and mitigation of security threats, ensuring the business is protected from the financial, customer, brand and compliance impact of current and emerging security related threats.
Accountable for setting and executing Security Strategy covering Network, IT, People, Property and Customers. This strategy should extend to Outsource partners, Retail and India Operations.
Effectively communicates up, down and across the organisation to drive awareness, engagement and ultimately improves Security risk mitigation.
Operationally responsible for end to end management of security incidents, business crises and continuity issues
Ensures that all change, infrastructure or process, is reviewed and developed in such a way that security exposures are minimised or mitigated whilst supporting H3G`s market place as a challenging and commercial brand.
Working cross-functionally, must develop systems polices and procedures to protect H3G`s infrastructure against customer abuse and technical attacks.
Ensure that H3G key management whether local or centralised across the 3 Group is managed securely and effectively to support the commercial operations.
Develop and maintain the capability to investigate identified incidents of security from both external and internal activities.
Develop and enhance current systems capability to ensure that H3G adapts and remains protected against the ever changing security attacks.

You will currently be operating in a strategic / senior-level security / risk role with extensive information security exposure within a large commercial company. You will also have extensive leadership / managemet experience.
A proven track record as a Department Manager in an entrepreneurial, energetic and fast moving environment, with the ability and gravitas to interface with and engage at all levels, across different functions, including senior management
You must have experience of managing outscourced security suppliers / partners / vendors together with practical experience of managing commercial agreements.
