Security Senior Team Leader

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Team Leader, to join the R&CE Management Team at Brimsdown. In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing existing operational performance and practices across all operations associated with the Brimsdown site, and developing, implementing and maintaining improvement plans to deliver operational excellence within all areas of security risk management. The role will have particular focus, but not be limited to, on-site guarding, security infrastructure and security management procedures. In addition the role will involve input into risk management of off-site security threats associated with the Brimsdown operations.

The successful applicant will be responsible, amongst other things, for:
• Undertaking an analysis of current security management performance, including establishing effective KPI’s
• Leading the on-site Security Officer Team
• Developing, communicating and executing transition plans in line with agreed timescales and performance measures
• Identifying, scoping and managing capital projects as they relate to security hardware and infrastructure
• Effective liaison with Police, Group Security Managers and Business Unit Management

We are looking for candidates who have proven experience and knowledge of managing security threats in high risk operational environments. In addition, to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate :

• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• the ability to work to firm deadlines without supervision
