be responsible for implementing all GE Security guidelines, policies, and procedures. In addition, the Global Security Manager will coordinate GE Energy Security procedures with GE Power Generation and Granite Services operations.

Essential Responsibilities In addition, you will:Conduct site security audits and identify upgrades / mitigation measures to reduce vulnerability to theft
Deliver asset protection related training as required
Conduct investigations of alleged or suspected violations of laws, policies and regulations in support of GE businesses
Liaison closely with local, state and federal authorities on matters relating to GE loss prevention and investigations
Testify before grand juries, courts and administrative hearings on investigative results when needed
Prepare and maintain comprehensive and cohesive investigative reports and statistical data
Submit reports to applicable internal departments or external agencies regarding the nature and status of investigations as necessary
Participate in the identification of resource requirements to support investigations
Participate in the development of handbooks, training and newsletters covering a variety of security and loss prevention programs
Work independently in planning and conducting investigations, but is provided assistance and guidance on assignments that involve unfamiliar issues or unusual investigative techniques
Lead and manage the workplace violence prevention program for Power Generation and Granite Services
Lead and coordinate the site security focal point program
Train and drive the crisis management program for Power Generation and Granite Services
Develop project security plans for project sites in emerging markets
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of investigative experience in a corporate or law enforcement setting
Eligibility Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish – written and oral
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time, as required
