An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing Profit Protection team as a Regional Security Manager reporting to the Group Security Manager. This will be a home based role with travel required across the North of England and Scotland where you will be responsible for approximately 120 branches. This is a full time permanent role that is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within security in a commercial, growing and forward thinking organisation.

Purpose of the role:

To assist in the delivery of Profit Protection strategies to protect people, property, profit and brand by liaising with all business levels to promote a safe, secure and profitable culture within the group. You will be responsible for minimising the risk and cost to the business by investigating all reported incidents or suspected incidents of crime, malpractice or procedural breaches at sites and branches within your geographical area. There will be an occasional need to cover the south of the UK too, and you will be expected to respond to any major incidents reported out of hours within your remit.


Duties and Responsibilities:
To protect our people, property, profit and brand in a cost effective manner
Ensure all security is in place for new and existing stores
Provide advice and guidance in connection with breaches of security
Investigate reported incidents, bringing them to a timely conclusion
React to and play a part in internal/external investigations
Analysis and review of implemented corrective actions
Engage our branch teams to build upon the profit protection culture
Manage effective shrinkage reduction strategies

Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of current and developing security technology for intruder alarm systems, access control and CCTV system requirements. It is essential that you have experience of crime and / or loss prevention investigations preferably from within the retail world and you have the ability to conduct interviews in line with home office practices. You will have previous experience in a similar role and have strong IT skills, good report writing ability and first class communication skills. An element of the role will involve project work with a requirement to meet objectives and deadlines.
