We are seeking a Manager, Security to join the team. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Security.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that we have consistency in approach, collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement in all Security aspects of our global business.

Responsibilities:
•Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to Business Unit (BU) management, office and project management teams in all fields of security by identifying and assessing security risks, identifying and responding to vulnerabilities, recommending and developing security, emergency response and evacuation plans, providing security awareness and training, auditing offices and projects sites and providing relevant recommendations, liaising with government agencies, clients, private security companies and other stakeholders, reporting security incidents and taking corrective actions.
•Coordinates the above plans and programs under the supervision of Corporate Security.
•Tracks, trends and evaluates security performance using key performance indicators.

Qualifications:
1.Education and experience
•BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field highly desired.
•Minimum 5 years of relevant Intelligence or Special Forces experience within Canadian or other NATO country Government agencies.
•Minimum 5 years as a Security Manager in a major company dealing with a wide range of international security issues and challenges.

2.Required knowledge
•Extensive knowledge of security and emergency operations at international level.
•Project management and administrative skills including intermediate to advanced computer skills.

3.Skills and abilities
•Ability to obtain and hold a Canadian Level II Secret clearance or approved equivalent.
•Decisive, goal oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Ability to communicate effectively with management; maintain effective working relationships.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
•Ability to operate in complex environments and deploy on short notice.

The Security director must be available to travel.
