Security Response Officer/Firefighter

Salary: £10.50 per hour after probation

Job description: 
We are looking to recruit a team of Incident Response security officers that will be trained in firefighting techniques. This is a great opportunity to take on a challenging role where you will be expected to respond to any security or emergency incidents and deal with them accordingly. From medical emergencies, internal and external security threats, natural disasters and tackling any fires on
site.
Full firefighter training will be provided including the use of breathing apparatus, fire proof clothing and equipment and techniques to extinguish fires. Also full training into the prevention of fires.
You will be the liaison with emergency services, as well as stakeholders and clients. Responsible for associated report writing and accompanying paperwork, therefore an excellent command of English, both verbal and written is essential.
A full, clean driving license is essential. IRS Officers will be trained to handle the various response vehicles used.


Candidate profile: 
A clean driving license is essential with a valid SIA license.
Excellent written/verbal English, with experience of writing incident reports and liaison with emergency services.
Ability to deal with emergency situations in a calm and effective manner
Experience working within the security sector & dealing with security incidents, ideally gained on a large site providing security guarding services
We want personnel who are flexible and adaptable � enjoy team working and can respond to emergency situations in a calm manner
Previous experience in a response role or dynamic risk management environment an advantage
Ex Military/Fire Service personnel an advantage
