MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Deputy Director of Security to join Maybourne Hotel Group and assist the Director of Security with supervising our Security teams across the group. The role will be based at the Berkeley hotel and some of your main responsibilities will be ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues at the Berkeley, the day to day running of the Security department and protecting the hotel equipment against fire and other hazards. Other responsibilities will include chairing the hotel Health and Safety committee and working with all hotel representatives to ensure all health and safety issues are handled and communicated.

You will also perform the role of Director of Security in their absence and supervise the various functions and responsibilities carried out by members of the Security departments across Maybourne Hotel Group.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Deputy Director of Security who we anticipate will have worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:

• SIA license
• NEBOSH or other similar Health and safety qualification
• First Aid qualification
• Strong motivational and leadership skills
• Passion for the hospitality/security industry
• A high standard of personal presentation
• Ability to work under pressure
• Confident and professional approach
• An excellent command of English
