Job description
Main Tasks
Based primarily at the Langen HQ, Germany, being responsible for the coordination and oversight of security and safety efforts at the Heppenheim and Gallin distribution centers, and other in-country facilities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Support and consulting the Management and site supervisors in all safety / security matters.
Conducting security and safety audits and inspections.
At the direction of the Director Security Europe, conducting remote site visits to facilities within the area of responsibility.
Coordinating and managing with applicable service providers all installation, repair, maintenance and monitoring issues pertaining to security systems (alarm, CCTV and access control systems).
Coordinating and conducting security and safety trainings as required.
Member of Health & Safety Committee at the German distribution centers.
Direct report to the Director of Security Europe, based in the UK

Your Profile
University or polytechnic (Fachhochschule - FH) degree
Minimum 5 years of private security experience coupled with a law enforcement or similar background, or 5 years commercial experience in the security sector
Excellent knowledge of operational safety / security laws, regulatory issues
Proficient (expert level) in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Working experience with US corporates / matrix-organizations is beneficial
Good project management skills
Thorough and process-oriented work style
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills needed to work with all levels of management
Team player
Fluency in German and English, other European language skills are beneficial
