We are recruiting a Regional Security Manager to join the team located in London. The successful candidate will Lead the security delivery function for the UK, including locations in MEA where in scope, and Implement security policies to ensure compliance

Role Summary:
Ensure compliance with the customer’s Security policies, standards, processes and procedures associated with the delivery of manned guarding and security systems services in scope.
Provide managements and direction for all security related activities in scope to ensure that, whenever possible, there is no business disruption to the customer due to security operations. This includes regional operations as it related to the SOC and technical and project delivery
Support CSBC in undertaking Security Risk and Threat Assessments to identify vulnerabilities mitigation measures can be recommended for implementation
Develop, lead and implement the tactical delivery of strategic security initiatives in conjunction with CSBC’s Protection Group and the CBRE FM Team, once agreed by CSBC
Manage the manned guarding, security systems maintenance and projects, tier 2 vendors, and associated specialist security suppliers to ensure delivery against defined service levels, and drive operational and commercial efficiencies in agreement with CSBC
Provide HR support where needed to the T2 vendor, including disciplinary requirements
Provide project support, advice and guidance to all security related projects in scope whether managed by CRES or CSBC
Provide project management support to the Security Systems Manager for small works projected for smaller technical upgrades and security systems changes regionally
Support relations with law enforcement, sector groups and bank-wide relationships in support of the delivery of the service
Support and contribute to all location security reviews conducted by CSBC’s Protection Group, including driving the implementation of remedial action to closure where required
Provide security specific training to CBRE account security coordinators
Manage response, resolution, investigation and reporting to CSBC of all security incidents
As an embedded member of the customer’s security management team, maintain close working relationship with the CSBC/CRES management teams in their locations of responsibility
Develop and maintain liaison with law enforcement and other security agencies
Provide MI and other relevant security information as required by CSBC/CRES in their respective locations of responsibility
Support and contribute to the account Business Continuity planning where required
Manage the ‘out of hours’ operational security management support
Experience Required:

Essential
Solid proven commercial security risk management experience, ideally with a global organisation from the Financial sector, preferably with a background of military, law enforcement or government experience
Excellent in-depth knowledge of physical and technical security, including integrated security solutions and manned guarding
Extensive project management experience of small to large projects, including managing RFI/RFP processes and tender documentation preparation. Will need to have a ‘hands-on’ approach. Robust knowledge of relevant security legislation in the UK
Good experience of developing and implementing security processes and management of a compliance and governance system, as part of the customer’s control function
Clear understanding of the significance of compliance and attestation within a regulated financial environment
Proven account management experience, including full P&L responsibility
Practical knowledge of applicable British and International security standards
Willingness to provide on-call support out of hours and manage a 24x7 operational management capability with the T2 vendors
Self-motivated and goal-orientated with ability to prioritize own and other’s workloads
A team player, with excellent interpersonal and proven management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate others. Must be able to balance the needs of the vendor and client in a highly dynamic and team-orientated environment
Must be able to fit the CSBC culture and manage the client relationship
IT literate and competent using MS office and associated software, with excellent report writing, business case preparation and presentation skills
Ability to travel throughout the UK and possibly abroad, with the possession of a valid driving license. Will be subject to pre-employment vetting and must pass with a clean record
Desirable
Ideally will have an established network of contacts within the UK law enforcement and associated professional organisations
Relevant industry recognised qualifications (CPP/PSP)
