Job Description:
VSG are currently looking for professional Security officers to join one of our prestigious contracts in Sudbury. The ideal candidate will have previous security experience, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties will include:
Access and Egress Control
Authenticating right of access
Completing all necessary paperwork & reports
Conduct personal searches
Conducting internal & external patrols
Ensure all officers are competent to undertake their duties
Ensure that health & safety information contained in the risk assessments are up to date
Following site specific procedures
Liaise with clients in a polite and professional manner
Maintaining the highest standards of security
Managing a team of security officers
Managing incident response & reporting
Managing officer training, disciplinary and welfare issues
Team Scheduling and Rosta patterns
Essential Experience
Ability to contribute to the team
Ability to travel to sites in your local area
Ability to use the microsoft office suite
Ability to use your own initiative
Access to Own Transport
Attention to Detail
Confident dealing with the public
Customer Focussed Approach
IT literate
Previous Security Experience
Previous Supervisory Experience
SIA Licence
Strong Verbal Communication Skills
Strong written communication skills
Valid Full Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
CCTV Licence Required
First Aid at work certificate
Health & Safety Qualifications
Previous Distribution Security Experience
