Role Responsibility:
In line with our core values the responsibilities undertaken within this role, but not limited to as follows:
Manage day to day security operations requirements for the site
Liaise with the clients security management team to ensure best practice security protocols are adhered to as well as establishment of relationships with building facility management team and local law enforcement
Management of all G4S Security officers working on site
Providing training of all new security officers and coordinating ongoing training with existing staff
Manage the automated access controls for all offices and facilities within the site
Coordinating the provision, maintenance and usage of security alarms and CCTV systems
Conducting and coordinating security inspections as directed and in conjunction with the clients management team
Representing G4S in all regional security management meetings with the client and participating in all G4S internal security meetings
Assisting with risk categorisation and identification within the sites internal areas
Reporting of all security or crime related incidents to local management
Producing and maintaining a Local Security Procedures documentation
High volume of administration and reports as well as ensuring staff are trained and completing reports in accordance with the clients standards
Responsible for all Health, Safety and Environment matters on the site

Minimum NSW Class 1A Security Licence
Minimum Certificate or Diploma Level Security Management Qualification
Possession of a current HLTAID003 Provide first aid Qualification
Possession of a valid Driving Licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Security Operations Manager within a large, complex organisation preferably working with corporate clients
Experience working within the financial services sector is highly desirable
Qualification in Risk Management is an advantage but not essential
High level of experience and knowledge of access control systems preferably as they related to a financial institution
Exceptional communication skills and immaculate presentation and personal grooming standards
Intermediate Microsoft Office, Excel and general IT skills
Current Federal Police Check and willingness to undergo G4S compliance and background checking procedure
