We've got a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Investiogator to join the Loss Prevention team at Hilmore House. Reporting to the Head of Loss Prevention. You will protect our business and Group assets from the threats and risks associated with internal and external crime. You will be responsible for identifying and managing incidents of senior and serious fraud and crime across the group, managing crime threats and risks, and through investigation and intelligence leads will reach timely conclusions, to all lines of enquiry in line with Group Policy and employment law. You will assist in the delivery of and working to agreed company annual stock loss, cash loss and crime incident targets.

In this role you are accountable for:

Customer
Providing expert knowledge and guidance across the business at senior level on all issues in relation to crime prevention and investigation.
To conduct serious and senior crime investigations across the Group - as determined by the Head of LP Corporate Protection - in line with Group LP Policy.
Assisting in developing and executing plans to support internal policies such as: crisis management, internal and external fraud, executive protection and business continuity

Colleague
Leading and directing field teams on crime investigations and outcomes.
Staff Safety.
Implementing the Group investigations policy, training and coaching LP and retail teams
Managing internal and external site security colleagues at the Customer Support Centre

Operational
Maintaining a case file of activity by type
Deliver to agreed KPI standards and measures, demonstrating business value of the Corporate Investigations team.
Develop Police and external agency network - to ensure effective and efficient response to crime serious issues.
Identification and management of confidential investigations contrary to Anti Bribery and Corruption legislation and internal policy and procedure.

Sales, Profit and Cash
Drawing on resource to deliver objectives relating to stock and cash integrity

The skills, qualifications and experience you will have:

Customer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills being able to take complex information and represent in simple concise format.
The ability to seek customer perceptions and motivations to inform and drive improvements
The ability to champion the customer and retain a customer focus through daily routines

Colleague
Previous experience of operating within law enforcement agencies at senior operations level is essential ideally at Inspector or Sergeant level
Strong negotiation and influencing skills at a senior level with the capability and career aspirations to move to the next level
An innovative thinker with good insight into targeting crime trends
An individual with extensive Law Enforcement networks with the ability to create a common purpose across diverse teams
The ability to bring new ideas into the organisation and create environments where sharing ideas, issues and concerns is the norm
A strong reputation for a positive outlook and supporting others to succeed

Operational
Experience of serious crime and crisis management is essential
Experience in pro-active and re-active Financial and Fraud related investigations
Trained to police standard crime investigations and interview techniques.
The ability to champion change and lead others
The ability to gain feedback from colleagues and customers

Sales, Profit and Cash

A strong ownership for delivery of the plannalysing business data and information from intelligence streams to highlight suspicious activity or potential crime related loss issues
