We are seeking an experienced Facilities Security Manager able to lead a busy multi function team covering security incuding VIPs and high profile University events, portering, car parking, post room and waste and recycling operations. The role is supported by three team leaders. Night time security is delivered by a contractor and you will be expected to develop, implement and monitor contractors adhearence to the agreed SLA's and KPI's. Proven leadership skills capable of delivering a focused, proactive team is essential.
Security and Portering Services are part of the Universities Estates Directorate which offers a range of services includng Estates Management and Development, Maintenance, Car Parking, Cleaning, Portering and Security. The directorate is responsible for a range of over 71 University buildings both aademic and residential totalling over 150,000 square metres on the Hull Campus.
To ensure the smooth running of the campus the post holder may be required to a five out of seven day week. They will need to be flexible with regards to hours of work to support business needs and to commit to an on call rota for which an additional payment is made.
The postholder may be required to work anywhere across the University.
