Role Responsibility:

Each position within our business is of key importance and we are currently recruiting for Casual Maritime Security Officers. These roles are based at DP World Port Botany commencing as soon as possible.

Maritime Security Officers, acting in a team environment, provide security for the personnel, property and facilities and responsibilities undertaken within this role include, but are not limited to:
The ability to fulfill the security officer role at the reception desk, roving patrol and gatehouse positions
Conducting all duties in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a customer service focus
Adherence to the Code of Conduct, Dress Code and Standing Orders for the facility
Contributing to the development of safe work practices
Implementing and promoting effective communication techniques

In order to carry out the position of Maritime Security Officer successfully you will ideally possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Previous experience in a Security Officer position
A current NSW Cert III in Security Operations together with a current NSW Security Licence
A current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC Licence)
Current Level 2 First Aid Qualifications
A Current Unrestricted NSW C Class Driver’s License and a reliable motor vehicle
A willingness to work across a 24hr x 7 day coverage in 12hr shifts
An energetic and enthusiastic approach to challenges
