CE Facilities Services is a leading provider of facilities management, cleaning and events services to clients throughout the world, including Premiership Football Clubs and the Olympic Games. We recently acquired Octavian Security, who provide manned guarding and security solutions which has expanded the security division and strengthened our position in the marketplace.

We now have an exciting and varied role for a Security Operations Manager to cover the London and Southeast area.

The role is field-based, but with a requirement to attend our Regional Office in Nottingham on occasion. You will be responsible for the overall operational performance of security contracts and customer service levels within your area.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for the operational performance of your area through building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring high customer service levels of your employees.

You will be an excellent communicator with good people management skills, and an ability to deliver quality services to clients. You will need excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills with an ability to analyse on-going situations.

Other responsibilities will include:

·Manage and motivate employees to ensure that the highest standards of quality control and customer care are delivered

·Achieve set KPIs and SLAs

·Develop strong relationships with clients and conduct regular client meetings

·Build and maintain a good working relationship and partner with the regional support teams (HR and Business Development)

·Ensure compliance of Company policies and procedures within your area, including Health and Safety and risk assessments

Essential Requirements

·Proven track record of leading and managing a team

·Strong operational experience gained in a multi-site or area management role

·Exceptional client and customer relationship management skills

·Excellent communication, organisational, influencing and facilitation skills

·Good health and safety knowledge and experience

·Flexibility and willingness to work out-of-office hours

·Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office packages)

·Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands

·SIA License

·Full UK driving license


·Strong knowledge of security practices, equipment and legislation

·Experience of managing a security contract or contracts within the manned guarding sector

·A track record of exceeding client expectations

·Experience of investigations

·Previous experience in working with Logosoft software

·First Aid / CSCS
