Job Introduction:

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Site Security Manager to join the G4S Secure Solutions (UK) team delivering and managing security services on our client site in the London area.

Role Responsibility:
The post holder will lead a front line site security team acting as a key point of contact for both G4S & Client Management Teams at the premises of our client, and will be responsible for ensuring security team 100% compliance to all access control procedures in relation to the presence of all individuals with legitimate business at the premises.

The protection of our client’s premises, assets, personnel and visitors are the key priority of G4S Secure Solutions (UK) Limited and the post holder will be required to lead the team in projecting a security presence which is both commanding and authoritative and to ensure the team carry out all duties defined in the Site Assignment Instructions professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
To ensure the team report for duty in time to complete a full duty handover and receive briefing on any site issues requiring your attention during your shift.
To ensure the team fully comply with all signing in and out procedures in the Site Assignment Log, all booking on and off and check call procedures through the G4S National Control Centre.
To provide regular Team Briefings to ensure all individuals in the team are fully up to date with ‘Threat Levels’, any escalation issues affecting the site, to recognise and celebrate success and to feedback and improve any issues identified as requiring improvement.
To ensure all handover and incident reports are fully , completely and legible recorded and issues requiring escalation are actioned in accordance with G4S & Site specific escalation procedures

The Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience of working as a Security Supervisor or Security Manager in the Security Industry
A valid front line SIA Licence or current certificate of completion of SIA front line training

To be considered for employment with G4S in this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:
Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
Be fluent in spoken and written English
Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period

PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE APPLICANTS WHO HOLD A VALID FRONTLINE SIA LICENCE OR SIA TRAINING CERTIFICATE
