As a Safety & Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing safety and security policies. Responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees and establishment needs during shift, Report all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards, Initiate action to improve a hazardous situation immediately, be familiar with location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment, maintain the security system, surveillance of those areas that are frequented by guests and all work areas. Ensuring checks are conducted on fire panel, fire hose real outlets and fire barriers and all other safety equipment and ensure that all are in good working order, hotel alarm system is in good working order, Supervise the outsourced Security Guards. Support the Safety Manager to make sure that the hotel is absolutely compliant with IHG's stringent fire, life, and safety standards. Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation.
You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can initiate, drive and execute all Hotel’s safety and security activities that will increase and maintain our Guest Love and Guest Experience.
Ideally, you will have minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of monitoring CCTV's and functioning of the security systems. Health & Safety certification or relevant qualification.
You need to be people oriented and highly passionate about your job with a great level of confidence. Good English communication skills are essential.
