Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Forecasting business levels and schedules accordingly to ensure guests’ expectations are exceeded while profit margins are achieved.
Expense management – ensures all expenses (labour and operations) are controlled to achieve maximum profitability.
Actively participate in the design and execution of the Crisis Management Program.
Facilitate departmental training programs on security standards, first aid coverage.
Lead a team of security officers via strong performance management.
Constantly seek ways to build customer/guest loyalty and improve guest recognition programs.
Ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, assets and facilities by conducting regular patrols.
Conduct monthly key audits and safety audits as requested.
Rendering First-Aid to guests and employees as required by internal guidelines.
Ensure all incidents are documented as required by internal guidelines.
Follow up with Department Heads to ensure that medical documentation and physical ability forms have been requested and that Return to Work Programs based on the medical have been initiated.
Perform health, safety & loss prevention projects as assigned.
Representation on Health & Safety Committee, with specific involvement in maintaining a safe work environment, by ensuring the completion of incident investigations and workplace inspections.
Actively participate in The Savoy’s environmental program and department specific initiatives in working towards sustainable operations.
Complies with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts policies, procedures and code of ethics.
Performs any and all other tasks which are assigned by management.
Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
Monthly inventory and ordering of all first aid supplies for the hotel and maintaining the first aid room.
Coordinate all first aid, AED, fire response.
Review monthly departmental health & safety audits and follow-up accordingly.
Liaise with London Fire Brigade Inspecting Officers on visits.
Liaise with Police and Security Services when required.
To carry out additional tasks as instructed and by reasonable request from the leadership team.
Adhere to all Savoy policies and procedures as outlined by the hotel.
Be an active colleague of the Savoy team in our mission of ‘Turning Moments into Memories’ for our guests.
Carry out all security and fire awareness training.



Qualifications:
3-5 years similar experience in the Hospitality Industry or similar
Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal.
A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships
with others.
Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
Applicable job related skills as per Accountable Duties.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire Legislation

Must be legally eligible to work in the UK. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining UK work authorization.
