Main Duties:
The appointee will be responsible for contributing support to the management to ensure Company properties and staff / contractors / customers / visitors are safe and healthy in accordance with the legal requirements through:
leading a team of Safety and Security officers to implement and monitor the efficiency of safety management system and security management system
reviewing and implementing occupational health and safety policies and procedures
delivering safety training and monitoring its effectiveness
analysing accident statistics and recommending improvement strategies
conducting risk analysis, reviewing accident investigation reports, and recommending corrective and preventive measures to the management.
providing support in strategic planning
Requirements:
Degree holder majoring in health & safety, or engineering discipline
Registered safety officer a MUST; and registered safety auditor preferred. Port Facility Security Officer qualification is an advantage.
At least 6 years’ experience in safety and/or security management in sizeable organization, of which 3 years in management capacity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to provide advice to the management and user departments
Strong analytical skill - able to analyze statistics and provide recommendations
Fluent in both Chinese and English. BULATS (Spoken, Written & Standard) at Level 3 High or equivalent.
Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office applications
Holder of valid Hong Kong Driving licence (Classes 1 & 2)
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Safety & Security Officer
