Team

Corporate Security Services protects the people, facilities, and assets of the company across the Globe. To accomplish our mission, we are seeking a Manager, Corporate Security Services EMEA based in London to manage security operations and event security in the EMEA Region. The incumbent will be responsible for managing an existing program while exploring opportunities to further refine and improve upon the current state of the program.


Qualified candidates must be able to interact positively with stakeholders across the full spectrum of business unit owners and demonstrate ownership of deliverables. Ability to build and maintain rapport, understand and adapt to nuances of different internal customers, and adapt rapidly to dynamic business requirements is critical.

Role

The Manager, Corporate Security Services - EMEA  (Europe, Middle East & Africa) reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Security Services EMEA, and will be tasked with managing and improving security operations and event security within their region of responsibility, including but not limited to:

Effective and consistent coordination of efforts necessary for executing both long and short term security operations and event security, including but not limited to vendor selection, vendor management, training, and coordination with stakeholders
Meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs) for incident response and investigations
Executing operations consistent with corporate security standards and enforcing those standards through investigation and escalation when necessary
Directing incident response and in exigent circumstances, managing in the field the response to such incidents
Planning, directing and executing event security for small to medium size in-region internal events
Deputizing for the Senior Manager, Corporate Security Services EMEA as required
Participation in the planning and execution of Dreamforce
This position resides in the security operations organization, and the successful candidate for this role will be expected to serve in an on call rotation, and be available for emergent situations as needed. This position will involve travel up to 25%, including international travel.

The Corporate Security Services program is part of the Corporate Security team, which is responsible for the safety, security, business continuity and crisis response programs globally.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Overall experience of 5+ years in security management or closely related services in public or private sector
Demonstrable experience in corporate security and event security management
Demonstrated experience executing successful security operations programs
Exceptional writing, research and analysis skills
Preferred Skills & Experience

Multi-disciplinary backgrounds (e.g. Security Ops Management, event security and Operations Center Management)
Prior experience in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience of working in large corporate organization with a matrixed management structure
Familiarity with Salesforce.com and use of our business solutions
Law Enforcement experience desired
Competency with another European language in addition to English an advantage
