WHAT TO EXPECT

You'll have the opportunity to join the Business Protection team, a central function that has responsibility for establishing the policies designed to protect Jaguar Land Rover assets. Those assets are defined as people as well as property, tangible or intangible, that the company or an individual owns. You'll join a team that effectively manage the protection of the assets for Security and Emergency Operations, and whose aim is to positively impact sales performance and, ultimately, the profitability of our company.



You'll deliver the Security and Emergency Operations fire response capability which includes attaining and maintaining competence in the following: basic firefighting, breathing apparatus, road traffic collision rescue, emergency fire appliance driver, pump operator, command and control, and fire investigation. Your duty will be to carry out a number of fire and security-related patrols at various times throughout the operational shift and maintain the fire extinguishers across the site.

In addition, you'll be responsible for maintaining records by means of the Records Management Process (RMP), and you'll have the opportunity to satisfy specific training requirements essential for operational duties. You'll also carry out routine maintenance procedures, including equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills gained in customer-facing roles, as well as the ability to advise, negotiate and influence at all levels. You'll need good computer literacy, experience using Google and MS Office, and the ability to work with internal software packages. Experience of working within the security, medical, fire or armed forces would be desirable.

Please note that you may be required to work at other Jaguar Land Rover sites during your employment. As this can be a physical role, all candidates must undertake a fitness test as a part of the selection process.
