Job Description
My Client currently seeks an Assistant Security Manager to work at their multi-site retail establishment in Southend.
The successful Candidate will be self motivated and must have excellent customer service and organisational skills, combined with a flexible approach to working.
They will need to work effectively both as a team member and positively motivate and lead the security team.
Applicants will ideally hold a front line SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor's Licence, full training can be provided for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the contract as per client specification
Manage and schedule staff including recruitment, training, disciplinary
and welfare issues
Liaising with Security Manager
Investigate accidents/incidents when instructed by Security Manager
Ensure compliance with the assignment instructions
Assist in the completion of fire alarm testing for tenants and the landlords
Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Security Manager and Account Manager
Ensure that health and safety information contained in risk assessments are communicated to relevant employees and client
To assist the Security Manager in conducting regular team meetings
Ensure all employees receive appropriate induction and training and are competent to under take their duties
Ensure that all injuries, diseases, dangerous occurrences and near misses are notified and investigated
Ensure that accurate check calls are in place
Assist in the control of evacuation procedures and evacuation exercise
