SIA registered Security Officers are required to assist in the provision of first class operational security service at an MoD base in Boscombe Down.
Security experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given but all applicants must be SIA registered and hold a full UK driving license.
Ensuring that control of entry duties are performed at various locations around the site, booking in visitors and ensuring that only authorised personnel and vehicles are permitted entry and conducting vehicle and baggage checks. Maintaining all manual and computer records. Monitoring CCTV and Alarm systems, carry out foot patrols and building checks, mobile patrol of an operational airfield, pass and permit checks. Site vehicle patrols also require that candidates have a full UK driving license.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo security clearance prior to starting so please be aware that this process will result in a delay between offer and actually starting.
