Role Overview:
Report directly to the Site Manager and be
responsible for the supervision of the site and the members of the security team.
The individual will ensure a total security service is enforced and provided to the site whilst also ensuring that he fully supports the Site Manager and security.
The Supervisor will support the Contract Security Manager in the daily management of the security team and tasks related to the safekeeping of the premises and the tenants. This includes communicating with and supporting the client, tenants and contractors. You will be expected to deal with issues relating to the daily running of the building and to manage emergency situations.

Duties include but are not limited to:
·Supervision of site security operations.
·High standards of performance/professionalism
by shift teams from day shift and night shift.
·Full compliance with operational instructions (e. g.alarm responses, building access etc.) and external regulations (e.g . SIA licences and CCTV monitoring requirements).
·Ownership of all operational incidents/
emergencies during shift, ensuring appropriate and professional management and reporting/escalation of issues (to KGL and/or on site senior management, as required).
·To be fully conversant with site systems and
procedures.
·To mentor and coach all Security Officers to
ensure team performance is thorough and
professional at all times. This will include
conducting appraisals/investigations disciplinary action where deemed appropriate.
·Support KGL and site management teams in
identifying and implementing service
improvements.
·Personal development and performance
appraisal of Security Officers.
·To seek responsibility in the CSM's absence and to ensure continuation of service.
·To build relationships with internal and external customers to enhance the security provision.
·To be fully conversant with all changes in building set up and to ensure information is passed both upwards and cascaded downwards.
·Responsible for the supervision and running of the security team.
·Maintaining safety and security through the
operation of the integrated security systems,
including access control, CCTV and fire alarm
systems.
·Liaise with building manager and contractors with regards to building maintenance and H& S issues.
·Liaise with external authorities including the
police.
·Collation and reporting of information relating to building issues and maintenance requests in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
·Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and all members of staff are kept up to date with any changes.
·Providing immediate response in the event of any major / minor incidents, ranging from responding to medical incidents, fire alarm activation /evacuations and crisis response. Ensure all staff are fully conversant with emergency procedures.
·Do weekly roster planning, report writing and
filing.
·Responsible for administration, issue and return of all keys and radio communication equipment.

Provide total administrative support to the Site Manager:
Complete rotas and implement them.
Ensure that all key registers are
maintained.
Ensure that all LoadingBay files and
systems are maintained.
Ensure that hand over sheets are
completed correctly and handed over to
oncoming officers.
Ensure that radios are audited daily and
the issue and return sheets are maintained correctly.
Ensure that contractors and visitors book
is maintained correctly.
Any other admin duties that the Site
Manager deems necessary or commensurate with the position.
Maintain constant liaison with the security team and Site Manager to ensure the terms of the contract are met and wherever possible exceeded:
·Communicate any issues to the Site Manager that may affect operational effectiveness of the team.
·Any welfare issues affecting the team.
·Any potential disciplinary issues.
Report writing:
Complete incident reports as required or
directed by the Site Manager or Client.
Incident management:
To assist the Site Manager in managing
any incident according to Client and KGL
procedures.
In the absence of the Site Manager,
manage any incident according to Client
and KGL. procedures
Troubleshooting:
·Identify and escalate any issue that may affect operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile :
·Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
·Attention to detail and proactive.
·Excellent time management & task prioritisation skills.
·Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
·Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
Must have previous experience in a
customer service and front desk role,
including organisational skills.
Must have a good understanding of fire
panels and emergency procedures.
Experienced in managing incidents and
emergency situations.
·Must have experience of working within a team as well as on your own.
SIA licensed in all relevant areas.
First Aid at Work beneficial but not
essential as training may be provided.
·IT literate.
·Demonstrable proactive and professional
approach to security.

Package:
·£10.52 per/hour
·4 on 4 off (42).
