Part time security officers required port of liverpool

24-36 hours per week, hours revolve around vessel sailings and can be un-sociable and can involve weekend work.

Duties to include:

• Providing a security perimeter around the vessel whilst vessel is in Port.
• Searching the vessel prior to sailing, working as part of a search team.
• Checking freight entering security perimeter around vessel.
• Checking personnel and their equipment entering vessel.
• Use of equipment (C02 Detectors etc).
• Working alongside a search dog team.

You will require the following:
No experience preferred as full training will be given, which will include a basic ISPS course with the Port Authorities.
Valid Front Line SIA badge.

This would be a good insight to personnel who are waiting to get into the Maritime Industry with no experience as you would be working onboard the vessel and in and around it whilst it is being loaded. It is not however an anti-piracy role.
Preference will be given to people living in the area.
As it is a part time vacancy please do not say that you are willing to 're-locate' as it just wastes everyones time and effort.
