A fast growing international multidisciplinary technology group is looking for a Security Officer for a long term and very large scale project in the Gulf Region.
The Security Officer will be a member of the unarmed security team, with strong background in hands-on physical security as well as concepts and protocols. Must possess experience with the different aspects of physical security, facilities and event security, and VIP/ dignitary protection.
Qualifications:
• 4 years of experience with physical security working for an official governmental agency, the police or the military, or at least 6 years of related and proven experience in the private sector, dealing mainly with securing official sites/institutions and close protection.
• Proven experience in securing VIP and facilities.
• Strong knowledge in CCTV systems, access control and command & control systems.
• Experience/proven ability to work under pressure in an ambiguous environment.
• Very good English proficiency – verbal, reading and writing (reports)- MUST
• Availability for relocating single status (without family) for periods of 3-4 months, followed by a two weeks home leave, for minimum 1 year contract.
• Good health, with the ability to work long & flexible hours as needed by rest of the team.
• Driving license - must.
