Job description: Based Mexico City.
We are seeking an accomplished, polished executive with experience operating across Latin America who can take our clients LatAm business to the next level; there is significant room for growth throughout the region and the incoming appointee will be challenged to capture it. This position requires someone with a solid business sense and intense attention to details. . Part of the Global Executive Committee, you will contribute to overall strategic problem solving. We operate globally as one firm with regional operations. As such, the Commercial Director will have to interact effectively with clients and colleagues from around the world.
You will hold full P&L responsibility for all Latin American operations. This includes significant security, executive protection, and investigations businesses which cover all of Latin America. Total current revenues are under US$ 10m annually and our growth target is 40% annual growth each of the next 3 years.
Candidate profile:
Fluent Spanish and English language skills required
Experience with managing in a high growth environment
Experience successfully managing subordinates with strong personalities
Familiarity with US business practices
Executive level client management experience
Thorough knowledge of financial planning and analysis
Conflict resolution skills
General knowledge of Mexican employment law/policies
Experience managing external vendors for back office functions
Ability to manage effectively during crisis situations
Self-Starter that has the ability to take initiative
He/she will have to quickly earn the respect of the existing leadership team in Mexico as well as internal peers. Prior experience with security or investigations is not required but you must fully understand the operational requirements and financial structure to succeed profitably in professional services.
