Security Service Manager

Job description
My client is a well established business in
Stevenage with free parking on site. The offices
are modern and air conditioned and they are a
really friendly family type firm working in the fire
and securityalarms and CCTV arenas. They offer
above average holidays of 23 plus bank holidays
and the role comes with a company car of a
Vauxhall Vectra or equivalent. This role will also
come with company mobile phone for business
and limited personal use.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough technical
knowledge of the following manufacturer's
products and also be skilled with excel, word and
outlook:
Intruder: - Scantronic / Menvier Range, Honeywell
and Siemens
Access Control: - ACT, Honeywell
Door Entry: - BPT, Fermax
CCTV: Pelco, DM, Adpro, Optex
Training will be given for the company's own
customer database as it is a bespoke system.


The main aspects of this role are as shown below:
1.Manage the Security Service Engineers.
2.Ensure that the Security Service Engineers
have services booked in for the following week
and they have the relevant paperwork.
3.Send service reminder letters to customers and
booking them in as requested.
4.Respond to customer call-outs
5.Checking and approving Security Service
Engineers' time sheets.
6.Price-up works orders.
7.Deal with intruder alarm activations and false
activations.
8.Manage false alarms and their statisitics.
9.Deal with Customers' telephone enquiries.
10.Deal with Customers' complaints.
11.Prepare letters to Customers.
12.Deal with Security Service Engineers' technical
problems.
13.Provide hands-on assistance on site.
14.Provide quotes to new customers or for
takeover systems and also for existing customer.
15.Organizing the call out rota and informing our
ARC.
16.If the occasion arises be included on the call
out rota.
17.Deal with the Security Service Engineers'
holidays and absenteeism.
18.Propose stockholding for in-house and vans to
support our systems.
19.Technical support to the Sales Team and
Security Installation Department, particularly with
respect to larger projects which may involve the
integration of various systems.
20.Overseeing visits from NSI inspectors.
21.Assessing products and making
recommendations prior to specifying them in
quotations / tenders.
