Job description
Security Manager Required for busy retail site. Main duties will include:

· To develop knowledge and understanding of site equipment and assets.

· To liaise directly with Security Officers to arrange sickness and holiday cover

· To follow the correct procedures to organise cover officers

· To organise disciplinary action with the approval of your Regional Manager.

· To attend monthly review meetings, take notes and produce minutes.

· To be responsible for the training and site induction of all Security Officers

· To manage a training matrix specific to site requirements

· To actively manage on site incidents. Providing guidance and control to officers, customers and other staff where needed

· To build strong relationships with all the centres tenants and staff

· To build close relationships with local police and crime prevention officers including the Anti-Terrorism team

· To provide feedback on relevant issues to centre management

· To be fully conversant with the centres Car Park Operations

· To ensure the high standards of the security team are maintained at all times

· To ensure that incident, first aid, and accident reports are completed swiftly and on time and passed to centre management for action

· Any other duties as required.
