Job description
Capita are looking for a Security Manager to work with us in our Sussex Community NHS Trust team based in Brighton. The postholders primary responsibility will be to ensure that Sussex Community NHS Trust meets its obligations under security law by developing, implementing and reviewing robust security management systems, policies and procedures. Support staff in realising a culture of positive and proactive security management, risk assessment and learning. Facilitate excellent security management and practice throughout the Trust including raising awareness and working with staff and senior managers to reduce the Trusts exposure to all risks, and advising managers to ensure a secure and safe environment for all Trust staff, patients and visitors. Act as the Trust Lead Specialist in relation to security regulation, policy, systems, processes, training and resources including violence and aggression towards staff, patients and visitors, fulfilling the role of Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) for the Trust.
