Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Supervisor within a prestigious site located in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising two locations, which will incorporate the following responsibilities.
Responsible for the management and control of 9 Security Officers, to include rota’s, holidays, sickness & welfare. Manage the ‘live’ rota system, identifying gaps and liaising effectively with control staff.
Monitor and evaluate Officer performance, ensuring compliance with onsite Assignment Instructions (AI’s). Report findings to the Client on a regular basis via the weekly KPIs.
Organise and maintain robust KPI’s, assisting the Area Manager during monthly SLA meetings with the Client.
Maintaining a robust customer relationship with the Client, ensuring best and most appropriate services are delivered within the contracted specification. Understanding & interpreting company policy, ensuring effective results are delivered.
Involved in the planning, developing and implementing security plans such as Emergency Response / Crisis Management / Physical Security / Information and Data Protection. Will be integral when involved in incident management or investigations on site.
Reviewing and updating Assignment Instructions and conducting briefing/presentations to ensure appropriate cascade & implementations by Security Officers.
Maintaining & enhancing knowledge of current industry trends, together with security issues on a local or national level.
Prepare & assist with the production of the Annual Risk Assessments. Implement control measures where necessary and have a good understanding of H&S.
Control entry/egress to site, ensuring effective liaison with the Client to limit delay or impact on the business needs. Reporting faults with security systems via the online reporting system, ensuring expedient repairs are carried out. Knowledge and understanding of Key Suited systems.
Good all round leadership, with the ability to command respect from Security Officers and deal effectively with problems.
Assisting with investigations for potential threats or for the loss of/or misappropriation of assets.
Performing post Incident/Investigation Analysis, conducting Key Learning Points and implementing Action Points.
Managing the allocation of Uniform requirements on site via the DUOS ordering system.

Essential Experience
SIA Licensed
Good knowledge of the Microsoft IT Suite Package
Excellent Proven Customer Service Skills
Experience in Supervising a Team
Desirable Experience
Experience within a Manufacturing site
Experience of Discipline / Investigation / Welfare of Staff
Security Supervision Experience
