My client is looking for a Head of Security to provide highly effective and efficient security arrangements for an 840 acre site, including commercial and defence contracts. The successful candidate will provide leadership and management to the Security team.
Key Responsiblities:
" To provide an extensive test and engineering site, with a professional security service, through a period of significant investment and site changes.
" Proactively managing the security provision and the visitors to the site.
" To provide assistance to the Security Controller on defence security issues and the Senior Operations Manager, MTP Estates Management on Estate security issues to ensure the smooth operation of the estate, meeting budgetary targets and maximising customer satisfaction / experience.
The ideal candidate will be in a similar role in a large, multi-building site / estatea where they will be a proactive individual with the ability to visualise long term goals in a faced paced and changing environment. An excellent communicator with internal and external contacts. An expert in their field, who is well versed in appropriate security provision as well as a motivational leader.
Experience and Qualification:
" Experience of running a secure site (Military or other)
" Experience of managing a security team
" Experience of managing defence security activities
" Knowledge of security issues related to a site of significant size
" Managing security teams through an outsourced contract
" Security qualifications to NVQ level 3 or above or equivalent
