Hotel Security Manager - luxury 5* establishment
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Central London
A fantastic career opportunity has arisen at a 5* luxury Hotel in Central London. Due to the nature of the role and the location applicants must have previous Hotel security management experience.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Prior experience as a Security Manager in a Hotel (ideally 4/5*)
• Experience of shaping the strategy & delivery of security.
• Proven ability to manage teams of Security Officers & plan security event security
• A strong and demonstrable customer service ethic
• SIA license is preferred but is not essential
Duties will include:
• Management and leadership of security officers
• Work closely with the Hotel Duty Manager to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
• Conduct risk assessments of the premises
• Conduct Health & Safety audits
• Implement SOP’s, security initiatives and strategies
• Manage the provision of contract security at the Hotel
• Recruitment, training and staff development
• Rostering of Officers
• Conduct investigations into any breach of security
• Work closely with Police and emergency services
• Oversee management of security systems including CCTV and Access Control
