Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Manager, working for aprestigious client in Birmingham.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • To provide a high visibility presence in order to deter
  • To manage a team ofSecurity Officers
  • To co-ordinate a working rota, including arranging cover for holidays and sickness, ensuring adequate cover is in place 24 hours per day
  • To maintain accurate records and logs of visits and any relevant incidents
  • To liaise with police and other agencies to ensure a co-ordinated approach
  • To ensure premises are safe and secure at all times
  • To develop and maintain good working practices and relationships with the client and any other relevant department
  • To contribute to a team effort by accomplishing results
The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience of managing a busy control room, auditing, regular patrols and front and back of house security
  • Essential IT Skills (i.e. Outlook and calendar, Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • A sound working knowledge of security systems (i.e. access & egress control, CCTV, fire panel etc.)
  • A current valid SIA license, including CCTV badge
  • Excellent awareness skills
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability and experience to manage a team
