Job description
The Operations Division of the University of Edinburgh’s Estates Department is looking to appoint a Security Manager.
The successful candidate will be required to:
• deliver a proactive and cost effective integrated security service for the University, in order to reduce the University’s potential exposure to loss, damage or injury of capital and intellectual assets, as well as increase the overall security of staff, students and visitors.• manage the University Serious and Major Incident plans and associated protocols.
• provide professional advice to the university community utilising contemporary best practice to ensure that any strategy adopted meets all university requirements.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 2nd June 2015, short-listing will take place on 26th May.
