We are currently looking for enthusiastic Role Players to be part of our diverse training team, at our training centre, based in Redhill, Surrey. We are looking for enthusiastic role players to be part of our diverse training team who are in their element working in a team, doing a physically demanding role, working in an outdoor environment. The role will include:
  • Role playing the part of casualties, in-country locals, rebels/extremist groups.
  • Conducting realistic safety, security and medical training scenarios in the training centre, and outdoors.
  • Driving Clients to and from training, in 4x4’s and mini buses (training would be provided).
  • Handling first stage delegate/Client enquiries via email and on the telephone.
  • Assisting the Training Coordinator: o In dealing with suppliers, o ensuring that vehicles are cleaned and maintained at the beginning and end of each course, o Producing and sending purchase orders
  • Administration of training courses including, bookings, issuing of joining instructions and equipment.
  • Maintaining course registers, updating delegate details and course information.
  • Maintaining the training calendar, liaising with the Pilgrims Head Office team to ensure awareness of upcoming courses.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks given by Senior Role Player, Chief Instructor and Training Manager.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Acting/drama experience
  • The ability to full immerse yourself into the roles you are playing
  • Customer focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain productive working relations with both internal and external Clients (including Media and NGOs)
  • Confidence in communicating with all levels
  • Innovative and receptive to change
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • IT literacy, Excellent Microsoft Office experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Full driving licence
Desirable experience:
  • First aid
  • Military experience
  • Off road driving
  • Mini bus/Bus licence
