Job description
We’re looking for an exceptional Controller to join our Security team.
Operating and monitoring all systems, including CCTV, within the Control room in a professional and effective manner, you will work hard to prevent and detect offences against staff, customers and Company property, merchandise, monies and assets.
Diligent and process driven, you will ensure that you comply with operating procedures, legislation and the SIA CCTV codes of practices at all times. This will enable you to ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained, whilst preserving the rights of the individual.
A motivational leader, you will build a strong work ethic within your team, actively encouraging development in order to strengthen the team’s collective skills base. As you will be required to record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format, excellent communication skills will be vital.
To be successful, you must be an SIA licensed CCTV Operator with Security, as well as CCTV room experience in a busy CCTV environment. Ideally you will have been a CCTV Operator in a previous role. Experience managing a team of CCTV Operators is also essential, whilst Retail experience is desirable.
You will be working 4 days over 7 shift pattern, which will include occasional night shifts.
