Cordant Security is currently seeking Security Supervisor to join our teams in the Brighton area.

Job Overview:
You will ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property. The post holder will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day security requirements of a prestigious site, maintaining a high corporate image and very high standards of professionalism, with opportunities to work across a number of assignments.
Principle Accountabilities:
Lead and supervise the security team on a daily basis
Access Control
Monitoring the team performance to meet KPI’s
Ensuring the tasking and adherence of Assignment Instructions
Ensure all security personnel are correctly turned out and courteous at all times
Ensuring that all relevant 'On Site’ training has been completed
Ensuring all incident reports and site documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner
Ensure that all patrol activity is carried out in accordance with the Site instructions
Ensuring the welfare of the team members
Investigating misconduct or malpractice issues
Requirements:
A valid Frontline Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection SIA licence
A valid CCTV licence is advantageous
Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers.
A full UK driving licence would be beneficial due to the sites you may be asked to cover
Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
Clear communication both written and verbal
Excellent communication & administration skills
Must be punctual and have the ability to think in their feet
Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
Smart, well groomed and confident.
A commitment to providing first class customer service is essential
Good report writing skills
Conflict management aware
High level of Customer Care Awareness
Security systems knowledge
Telephone/switchboard skills
First Aid training would be an advantage
IT literacy would be an advantage
In return we offer:
£7.30 - £8.00 per hour
Mixture of days, nights and weekends. Applicants must be flexible.
Variable hours up to 48+ a week
Full and ongoing training with a view for career development including opportunities to progress to permanent security officer positions
28 days annual leave per year excluding bank holidays
