Background to Job Role
Our client provides a service for vulnerable adults & young people. The support staff provides the daily support required for clients at the site with the concierge security staff providing security throughout the night
Job Duties will include
· Provide a courteous, professional and welcoming atmosphere for all residents, their representatives and visitors to the scheme.
· Provide security for the clients and the building out of hours
· To remain alert at all times and give consistent attention to all in the building.
· To carry out regular visual and sensory checks of all internal and external inspections in the communal area(s) and documenting concerns to management.
· Monitor access to the premises and visitors
· Meeting the requirements of health and safety policies and practices
· Reporting incidents and anti-social behaviour
· Effective recording of information
· Implementing procedures to ensure effective service delivery
· A basic understanding of Health & Safety at work & the likely issues to occur in a residential building.
· A mature & non-judgmental attitude to working with a client group that may present challenging behaviour
· Be able to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds & seek to understand & be understood. Writes clearly & concisely
· Customer Focus - Builds effective and boundaried relationships
· Able to be flexible in approach to responsibilities and to working hours

Hours of work are 9 hour shifts.
The ideal candidate will be part of a rota over any one week (including bank holidays).
Uniform is provided
Candidates must: -
Be SIA Licensed in accordance with the Security Industry Act 2001
Willing to undergo an Enhanced CRB check
Have a 5 year checkable history to the standards required by BS7858
Be of smart appearance
Punctual, Reliable & Flexible to meet business & client needs.
