Head of Security

Due to the existing Head of Security moving to a global role we are currently recruiting an experienced Head of Security in the UK. We can be flexible on location and you can work out of offices in (London, Manchester or Leeds). You must be an experienced manager as you will have 2 Direct reports but a team of 8 indirect reports that you will motivate and interact with. You will provide strong direction and leadership to the security and front of house services team to enable Sodexo to provide a professional integrated security solutions.

Service Operations is the part of our business that supports segment development by providing expertise and process standardisation across all segments. Service Operations leverages our global expertise and best practice to bring the best of Sodexo to all of our clients. It include everything from FM expertise to food development through to bid support, health and safety, and contract design and management.

Engage all the segment stakeholders to promote profitable growth of security & Front of House services
Support the Region Service Operations to set a solid project management plan to deploy security & FoH elements of Soft Service Framework
Ensure that Sodexo remains legal and compliant in relation to security licensing across UK and ROI including BS7858 standards and PSA 28
To have awareness and oversight of bid / tender activity so that demands can be managed and compelling solutions presented
Manage the relevant security & FOH training development plans in conjunction with the FM development manager
To have industry relationships with key stakeholders such as Security Industry Authority & Private Security Authority to further enhance Sodexo’s position within the industry
Support the Region to adapt the security tools considered as a priority by the Segments
In conjunction with region supply chain, maintain third party security supplier relationships in conjunction with global supply chain to harness benefits and partner synergies
To educate and promote electronic security solutions to raise margin and client satisfaction and harness the integration of this approach
Maintain industry leading security knowledge /qualifications to ensure Sodexo remains at the forefront of quality service delivery and industry recognition

Demonstrable experience in a high level security role
Ability to manage time, resource and tasks effectively
Experienced and comfortable in dealing with senior level relationships
Experienced & comfortable with public speaking
High competency & accuracy with providing written solutions and compiling presentation materials
Experienced at motivating & engaging at all levels within an organisation
Ability to travel around the UK and in Ireland with overnight stays where appropriate with full UK and Ireland driving Licence
